M. Jayaraman, a man suffering from polio residual paralysis
of both the lower limbs was working in a cycle shop as an attender.
After learning the trade, he approached Reachout appealing for
help. He wished to open a cycle shop of his own whereby he could
rent out cycles and earn a living.
Bank Of India, Mumbai, had contributed funds
for our various social requirements. We used this fund accordingly
wherein one of the projects was that of opening M.Jayaraman’s
Cycle Shop.
On March 10th Jayaraman opened his shop wherein representatives
of the bank were received by reachout staff and were felicitated.
Today we can see a confident Jayaraman doing his business with
untold joy and dedication. Reachout has managed to help him
see the light at the end of the dark tunnel of his life..
