September 2004 found Reachout stepping into its third year of social work. This time it identified an orphanage called Jeevika where there were about 100 children. Since Deepavali was just around corner, we took this opportunity to make these children smile with joy by providing them with brand new clothes. A tailor appointed by us went their & measured each & every child and thus a well fitting new dress was gifted to them. Our Volunteers had a fun time with the children on that day by playing cricket, word games, Anthakshari etc. After a hearty breakfast we returned home with this day for ever etched in our memory.
