“Completed Projects for Tsunami victims”

Successful distribution of Tsunami Relief materials to Cuddalore and Nagapattinam

26th December 2004, Tsunami struck terror in the hearts of thousands of people in our country. Several fishermen villages were destroyed and some were erased from the face of the earth.

At such a time of crisis nature saw the strength of human bonding when thousands of people, not in any way linked to the catastrophe stricken reached out to them with love and compassion.

Boxes and boxes of clothes , bed materials, vessels, medicines, bags of rice, gas stoves etc. poured into our Reachout administration office. It was a great moment for our organisation, when we were successfully able to sort out the supplies and ship them by a passenger vessel “NANCHOWDY, MUMBAI” which set sail to Andaman and Nichobar Islands from our Chennai Port.
Two truck loads of relief materials were sent to CUDDALORE and NAGAPATTINAM with the aid of “Aid-India”, Chennai and “Vivekananda Kendra”, Chennai.”

We wish to convey this to all those who reached out and to make them happy that their contributions had reached the right people. Today somebody somewhere will be gaining comfort and strength by your kind gesture. We take this opportunity to thank each one of you for your effort, time and contribution.
